REACH

We confirm that all Aderco products are in compliance with Regulation (EC) N. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

California

We confirm that all Aderco products are NOT listed in the CaliforniaProposition 65 list of substances (previously named "Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986"). The proposition 65 is a list ofchemicals known to the state of California to be carcinogens orreproductive toxicants. Aderco products are non-restricted for useunder the tight regulations of California.

SECA

MARPOL Annex VI contains provisions allowing for special SOx Emission Control Areas (SECAs) to be established with stringent controls on sulfur emissions. In SECA zones, the sulfur content of fuel oil used onboard ships must not exceed 1.0% as an effort to limit shipping emission in fragile environments.  Aderco L1050 lubricity additive is readily available to overcome lubricity problems encountered with ULSD (0.1%) and other low sulfur fuels used in protected areas. Low sulfur fuels, in combination with Aderco L1050, release much less SOx emissions in the environment and enable the ship owner to meet MARPOL regulations while protecting the fuel pump, injection system and the whole operation before the combustion phase.
