Aderco 2050

Aderco 2050 is an extremely concentrated surfactant/dispersant for use in residual and distillate fuels. Product developed primarily for large fuel consumers. The scope of this product is to homogenize the fuel, clean and protect the operation, maximize the energy potential, minimize emissions and solve fuel related problems, before, during and after combustion. Aderco 2050 is supported by letters of non-objection from major engine manufacturers and used by major power plants around the world.

  • one product performing before, during and after combustion
  • 100% organic
  • ashless
  • metal free
  • non-hazardous
  • non-restricted for transport
  • environmentally friendly
  • no dosage device required
  • worldwide distribution

    ADERCO M16K

Aderco M16K is a liquid magnesium (30%) fuel additive developed to eliminate both high and low temperature corrosion in electrical boilers. Both types of corrosion are directly linked with the formation of vanadium pentoxyde (V2O5), as a result of the vanadium content in the fuel. At high temperatures, corrosion from liquid vanadium pentoxyde is neutralised due to its reaction with the magnesium; the result is a solid compound with much higher melting point. At low temperature, vanadium pentoxyde acts as a catalyst for the transformation of sulphur dioxide (SO2) into sulphur trioxide (SO3), which is the cause of the problem. By neutralising the vanadium pentoxyde, we are actually also preventing the transformation and eliminating the low temperature corrosion. Aderco M16K remains the most effective and economical way to solve high and low temperature corrosion in electrical boilers. Failure to control boiler corrosion can result in expensive overhauls and extensive shut-downs.

    • eliminates high temperature corrosion
    • eliminates low temperature corrosion
    • stable, no suspended solids
    • non-hazardous
    • non-restricted for transport
    • no dosage device required
    • worldwide distribution

    ADERCO MC

Aderco MC is a proprietary highly reactive magnesium oxide powder used in coal power plants to raise the fusion temperature of coal ashes. The white powder is normally injected in the fire box through some peep holes and aimed directly on problematic areas to control slagging, fouling and corrosion. Instead of melting, the deposits stay solid and become flaky, they are easily removed by the soot blower and less maintenance is needed to keep the operation clean. Failure to keep the boiler clean can result in expensive overhauls and extensive shut-downs.

    • controls slagging, fouling and corrosion
    • non-hazardous
    • non-restricted for transport
    • worldwide distribution
